10. Which is your favorite?
1. How many are you happy with?
So, as of right now I've got 11 stories posted, and you know... honestly? I love all my titles.
2. How many are... not great?
0/11 :D
3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute?
Hmm. I think I remember Controlled Burn giving me a little trouble. My most recent one, The Current Between Us took me a little while to figure out too, but I always have the title set before the fic is finished. Usually it's way, way before the fic is even anywhere close to finished.
4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning?
Probably quite a few of them. Definitely remember naming Event Horizons (And Other Boundaries We Broke) long before I'd started to work on it. I have nearly a whole page of other possible titles for future stories in that 'verse.
5. How many are quotes from songs or poems?
No songs really, except maybe Double Double This This and Double Double That That which are both from a children's clapping game.
6. How many are other quotes?
You Learn How to Howl is from a Colin Powell quote, I think. The Curious Incident of Clint in the Nighttime is a bastardization of a famous novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork?
This is a hard pick! I feel that most of them do.
Thou Makest a Cunning Linguist is a cracky MCU porn starring Darcy/Loki and it's all about Ye Olde Dirty Talk. I think the title is pretty reflective, but it's my oldest and still one of my faves, so obviously I'm a little biased.
8. Which best reflects the theme of the story/fanwork?
Hmm, also a hard pick, but for the opposite reason.
I'll have to say Event Horizons (And Other Boundaries We Broke) because the series is about pushing limits and that point of no return. Not that that's in any way clear, since I've only written the first story, but here's hoping it will be once it's finished!
9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/POV of the fanwork?
Ooh, interesting question. Maybe Double Double This This and Double Double That That? They're written from Tony's POV (which I love and need to do more) and there are lots of hilarious puns as he tries to complete his ridiculous quest to get Steve to agree to a double penetration scenario.
10. Which is your favorite?
I love all of my title-children equally! One that I haven't mentioned though is Sixteen Points of Articulation which is a Clint/Coulson phone sex story that spawns from Clint receiving his Hawkeye action figure prototype. Points of articulation being the moving parts on an action figure, so you know. Title! *wavey hands*
